I have Directed two projects with Mireille (or Mimi as most of us call her) the second of which, she also associate produced. She goes out of her way to help in an Indy realm, and when asked for help, will have already made four phone calls to find that specific lamp Set Dec requires. Mimi is definitely one of those filmmakers you want on your side. In a storytelling sense, Mimi is exciting, enthusiastic, and willing to get her hands dirty. This I love. Mimi was tireless and listens to direction very well, and is willing, if not plain eager, to play outside her type.

Mireille's performance stood out among all the other actresses that came to the audition. I have never seen an actor prepare their roles as well as her. The amount of job that she did during rehearsals in preproduction, from research of the character background to analyzing the script was indeed impressing. She kept up her energy level no matter how long the day and how emotionally demanding the character was.
